Role Overview

We’re looking for an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive who’s curious about social, eager to learn, and excited to be part of fast-moving, collaborative work.

This role is ideal for someone early in their agency journey or ready to take the next step, with exposure to social media, influencer engagement, and integrated campaigns. You’ll work closely with Account Managers, Senior Account Managers, and Account Directors, gaining hands-on experience while being supported through coaching and mentorship.

At Gloo, Account Executives are not just task-doers. They are active contributors who learn by doing, asking questions, and getting stuck in.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Account Managers and Senior Account Managers in day-to-day client servicing
  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring social media and digital campaigns
  • Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communications across internal teams
  • Work closely with Designers, Copywriters, and Strategists to support campaign delivery
  • Assist with influencer engagement, content coordination, and campaign logistics
  • Help track budgets, timelines, and campaign performance
  • Support reporting by gathering data, insights, and campaign results
  • Prepare materials for client updates, presentations, and meetings
  • Manage feedback and revisions to ensure smooth execution
  • Stay curious and up to date on social trends, platforms, and digital formats
  • Proactively flag risks, issues, or opportunities to senior team members
  • Qualifications & Expectations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • 0–3 years of experience in advertising, communications, or digital marketing
    (Agency experience is a plus, but not required for junior candidates)
  • Interest or foundational experience in:
    • Social media platforms and content
    • Influencer and creator ecosystems
    • Campaign coordination and project management
  • Organised, proactive, and willing to learn
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

    For Senior Account Executive candidates, we’ll look for stronger ownership of tasks, greater confidence in client communication, and the ability to manage workstreams more independently.
