Role Overview

We’re looking for an Associate Producer (Photo/Video) who lives and breathes content, understands how social-first visuals work, and enjoys bringing ideas to life through photo and video.

This role is ideal for someone early in their production journey or with a few years of experience, who wants hands-on exposure across shoots, edits, and content creation. You’ll work closely with Creatives, Strategists, and Account teams to produce high-quality, platform-native content across social, digital, and campaign work.

At Gloo, producers are not just executors. They are collaborators, problem-solvers, and creative partners who help shape how ideas show up in the real world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the production of photo and video content across social, digital, and campaign work
  • Assist in planning and coordinating shoots, including pre-production, shoot days, and post-production
  • Ownership of our in-house studio, shophaus, utilising the location and gear we have for shoots as required
  • Logistical planning or sourcing for shoots, including managing or liaising with third parties for location, permits, talents, casting and more
  • Shoot content as required (using a dedicated studio, and a bevy of props, tools and gear at your disposal), and work closely with editors and external partners to realise the content plan or vision you set out to achieve
  • Ensure content is produced with platform formats, specs, and best practices in mind
  • Manage production timelines, assets, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution
  • Work closely with Creative, Strategy, and Accounts teams to interpret briefs and bring ideas to life
  • Organise and manage content assets, folders, and versioning, maintenance of content archival workflows, along with space management
  • Lead or assist with on-set coordination and production support during shoots
  • Liaising with external production houses, teams or partner talent, for larger-format commercial shoots
  • Stay up to date with content trends, formats, and emerging styles across platforms
  • Proactively flag production challenges and suggest practical solutions
  • Qualifications & Expectations
  • Production samples and demonstrable talent and interest behind the camera is a pre-requisite
  • 1–4 years of experience in content production, media, social, or a related field
  • Comfortable with:
    • Shooting photo and video (Sony mirrorless, DJI/i360, or mobile)
    • Understanding of editing suites to know what’s possible on the editing floor (e.g. Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, After Effects, or similar)
    • Understanding social formats and content requirements
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and reliable under deadlines
  • Willing to learn, take feedback, and adapt quickly
  • Agency, content studio, or freelance experience is a plus, but not mandator

For more experienced candidates, we’ll look for stronger ownership of shoots, editing workflows, and production planning.
