Role Overview

We’re looking for a Paid Media Specialist who is confident planning, executing, and optimising paid media across digital platforms, and who understands how amplification supports strong creative and social-first ideas.

This role covers paid social, PPC, SEM, and media planning, with responsibilities spanning setup, optimisation, reporting, and performance analysis. You’ll work closely with Content, Strategy, Accounts, and Creative teams to ensure media plans are smart, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

This is a remote-first role, so strong organisation, communication, and ownership are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns across platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube
  • Execute paid social, PPC, and SEM campaigns to support brand, performance, and amplification objectives
  • Develop media plans, projections, and budget allocations based on campaign goals
  • Set up, monitor, and optimise campaigns to maximise efficiency and performance
  • Gather rate cards and media information from publishers, platforms, and partners where required
  • Support media insertions and placements, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Benchmark performance against historical data, industry standards, and campaign objectives
  • Track spend closely and ensure budgets are paced accurately
  • Analyse results and translate performance data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Prepare performance reports for internal teams and clients, including post-campaign analysis
  • Stay up to date on platform updates, ad formats, and media best practices
  • Collaborate with Creative and Content teams to ensure assets are optimised for paid performance
  • Qualifications & Expectations
  • Go-getter mindset: Proactive, takes ownership, and moves fast to solve problems and spot optimisation opportunities.
  • Bonus: working knowledge of SEO fundamentals (keyword research + on-page basics) to support stronger landing page performance and integrated search strategy.
  • 2–5 years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or digital media roles
  • Hands-on experience managing:
    • Paid social (Meta, TikTok, etc.)
    • PPC and SEM (Google Ads)
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Campaign setup and optimisation
    • Budget pacing and projections
    • Benchmarking and performance analysis
  • Comfortable working with data, reports, and dashboards
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing multiple campaigns
