Producer (Junior to Senior)

Singapore
Role Overview

Gloo seeks a producer who knows the inner workings of commercial and social shoots. This is a hands-on role: some days you are behind the lens as part of a full production crew on an advertorial, others you are one half of a two-person team running a social shoot end-to-end.

Versatility is the core requirement. Comfort moving between full-frame gimbal-stabilised setups, 360 cameras, DJI Osmo, and phone cameras, matching the tool to the brief rather than defaulting to the biggest rig. You’ll join an award-winning content team, who work with some of Singapore’s most socially-savvy brands, and be equipped with tools, software, training and coaching, a creative production team, a bevy of gear and a dedicated in-house studio to bring your ideas to life.

A genuine interest in and passion for visual storytelling will be key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities
    • Produce shoots end to end: from pre-production planning through to delivery
    • Operate as crew on set, not only as a coordinator: camera, lighting, sound, and grip fundamentals as the shoot demands
    • Scale the approach to the job, from full production crews on ad work to lean two-person social shoots
    • Select and operate the right kit for each format. Whether it’s a full-frame camera with a gimbal, a 360, an Osmo, or even your phone
    • Manage schedules, call sheets, logistics, permits, and on-the-day problem solving
    • Partner with strategy, design, and content teams to translate concepts into shootable plans
    • Maintain footage organisation, handoff, and post-production workflow
    • Track budgets, vendors, talent, and equipment needs across projects
  • Qualifications & Expectations
  • Experience Required
    • 2–3 years minimum in production, videography, or a comparable role
    • Fresh graduates with a demonstrable portfolio will be considered
    Technical Competency:
    • Full-frame cinema and mirrorless camera systems, gimbal-stabilised
    • 360 cameras, DJI Osmo, and phone-based capture
    • Practical grasp of lighting, audio, and lens choice
    Comfortable With:
    • Producing solo or in a two-person team with no support crew
    • Pre-production planning and on-set decision making
    • Directing talent and non-professional subjects
    • Basic edit workflows and post handoff
    Strong Understanding Of:
    • Visual storytelling and how format shapes narrative
    • What platform delivery requires: social, broadcast, paid
    • Production economics and where quality is worth the spend
    • Set etiquette and crew dynamics
    Additional Skills:
    • Meticulous focus and project organisation
    • Ability to juggle multiple productions at different stages
    • Rapid adjustment when a shoot day changes shape
Agency or in-house brand production backgrounds, editing ability, and a strong personal body of work represent valuable assets.
